Dump Trailer Services ("we", "us" or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your information when you visit dumptrailerservices.ca or contact us for services.

Information We Collect

  • Quote and contact forms: the name, phone number, email address, city or area, job details and any photos you send us.
  • Texts and calls: if you text or call us, we receive your phone number and anything you send, such as photos of the job.
  • Ad and visit details sent with a form: when you send a form, it also includes which page it came from and, if you arrived from an ad or link, the campaign tags in that link (such as utm_source or fbclid) and a random event ID. We use these to see which ads bring in quote requests.

Cookies and the Meta Pixel

We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure how well our Facebook and Instagram ads work, only if you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. If you click "Decline", or make no choice, the Meta Pixel is not loaded and nothing is sent to Meta.

If you accept, the Pixel tells Meta when you view a page, tap to call, text or message us, view our photo-quote or city pages, and when you send a quote request (the page name and a random event ID, not the contents of the form). Meta may use cookies and receive information about your device and browser. See Meta's Privacy Policy for how Meta uses it.

Your choice is saved in your browser (local storage) so we don't ask on every page. You can change it any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. We do not currently use Google Analytics or other analytics tools; if we add any, we'll update this policy first.

How We Use Your Information

  • To give you a quote and reply to your questions by text, phone or email
  • To schedule and do the job
  • To measure our ads (only with your consent, as above)
  • To keep basic business records and meet legal obligations

Where It Is Stored and Who Sees It

Form submissions (including photos) are received and stored by Netlify, the company that hosts this website, and are emailed to our business Gmail account (Google). Texts and calls go to our business phone. We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with these service providers, with Meta as described above if you accept, or when required by law. Some of these providers may store information outside Canada.

How Long We Keep It

We keep your information only as long as needed to quote and complete the job and keep basic business records.

Data Security

This website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect your information.

Your Rights

We handle personal information in line with Canada's privacy law, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we have about you by emailing dumptrailerservicesbusiness@gmail.com. You can also call 604-788-0968.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will appear on this page.
